(Above and below) The Fat Lamb Hotel, built on the site of the original Eugowra Hotel, which was constructed of pise and shingles by Mr. Hanbury Clements in 1866.

On this site one of the first hotels in Eugowra, The Bridge Hotel, once stood, but was disbanded due to lack of a licence. Currently owned by Barb and Bob Roach and houses The New Ewe.

Above, the fascinating façade of the Wobble In, and below the façade of the Eugowra Historical Museum and Bushranger Centre. These buildings stand side by side in Pye Street. The Wobble Inn buildings are owned by Chris Whittle, and the Museum building is occupied by The Eugowra Promotion and Progress Association.

 

 

(Above)The Eugowra Post Office on the corner of Nanima and Pye Streets. This building has been in use continuously as a Post Office since it was built. Currently owned by Darryl and Helen Jones

(Above) The Bank of New South Wales building in Nanima Street is now owned by Amanda and Mick Mongan, and used as Head on In Hairdressing salon. Prior to that it was Eugowra’s and Australia’s first Rural Transaction Centre, and before that a restaurant owned and run by Jenny and Grant Grogan.

(Above) Eugowra Police Station and lock-up is located in Nanima Street. Next to it stands the police residence, also built about the same time.

(Above) Lees Old Store was constructed in 1908 and extended in the 1930s. The original section now houses The Lady Bushranger country furniture and coffee shop. The later section houses Somerset Lane Clothing. The building is owned by Anne Tildsley. Located in Nanima Street opposite the old Bank of NSW building.

(Above) The Escort Rock Café was previously called The Paragon Café. It is located on the corner of Nanima and Pye Streets on the eastern side of the bridge.
